AideFi Luxembourg 2026: grants and student loans – Conditions and online application for the summer semester

The AideFi (Aide financière de l’État pour études supérieures) is a scheme in Luxembourg that allows students to finance their studies through grants and/or a student loan, provided certain conditions are met.

👉 AideFi is paid in two installments per academic year, corresponding to the winter and summer semesters.

AideFi summer 2026 application: dates and procedure

For the summer semester 2026, you can submit your application from January 2 to April 30, 2026.

The application is completed online via MyGuichet.lu, with or without LuxTrust.

Who is eligible for AideFi?

AideFi is available to:

• Students residing in Luxembourg
• Non-resident students, particularly if a parent works in Luxembourg and contributes to their support

Amounts and Types of Aid

Depending on your situation, you may receive:

• A basic grant
• A mobility grant
• A grant based on social criteria
• A student loan

👉 These types of aid can be combined under certain conditions.

Deadline not to miss

You have until April 30, 2026, to submit your AideFi application.

Make sure to prepare all the required supporting documents to avoid delays in processing your application.
