Horecatech begins a new chapter under the leadership of Marc Wilmet
Date of publication : 06.07.26

A new chapter is beginning for Horecatech, a company renowned for its sustained growth over more than 30 years under the leadership of Alice and Eric Poirrier. Today, the company is entering a new phase in its history following its takeover by Marc Wilmet.
This move marks a significant transition for the company, driven by a shared commitment: to ensure continuity, preserve the legacy built up over the years and prepare for the future under the best possible conditions.
Long-term support
At In Extenso Belux, Séverine Meinguet, Stéphan Moreaux and their team had the privilege of supporting all parties involved throughout this strategic transaction, which spanned over a year.
This support was part of an approach that was both technical and people-centred, with a clear objective: to ensure a smooth, structured and sustainable transition.
A human and entrepreneurial journey
Beyond the economic and organisational challenges, this takeover illustrates, above all, a wonderful human and entrepreneurial journey. It reflects strong values such as trust, commitment and the passing on of knowledge.
After three decades of growth, Horecatech is now embarking on a new chapter, whilst building on the solid foundations laid by its founders.
A forward-looking transition
This takeover represents much more than a simple change of leadership: it embodies a company’s ability to reinvent itself whilst honouring its history.
We extend our best wishes for success to Marc Wilmet as he embarks on this new chapter, and to Alice and Eric Poirrier for their contributions over the years and the entrepreneurial legacy they have left behind.
